Thrive In Five: Five Things That Make you Happy and Grateful

Person holding a grateful sign. Five things you are happy and grateful for

This week’s Thrive In Five is all about the things that make you happy and grateful

So this week’s Thrive In Five is a super simple task but can have a great effect on your wellbeing. We’re going to explore gratitude, and five things that make you happy and grateful.

Liz Marsland shares her gratitude practice with you. Make a list at the start of each day of five things that make you happy and that you are grateful for.

It could be friends and family, health, the weather, a new hobby, reconnecting with old friends, a funny memory, a planned future event. Big or small a gratitude practice can improve your wellbeing. Studies have shown, gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps you feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve your health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships.

Try adding new things to the list as the week goes by, so you can create a list of things that make you happy and that you feel grateful for.
