Wellbeing at work challenge – week 1


Do you want to be known as the best in the industry for looking after your employees and truly pioneering the practice of wellbeing at work?

At Bodyshot we believe that wellbeing is a proven competitive advantage for businesses. Prioritising wellbeing at work can help improve resilience levels within your organisation and drive more energy through your business.

To increase awareness of the importance of wellbeing at work, Bodyshot Performance have invited a few select businesses to take part in our Thrive in Five Wellbeing at Work Challenge. One participating business will win services worth £3k, so there’s a lot to play for! We’re delighted to be working with 15 Below, Herbert Smith Freehills and Workspace Group, all of whom are taking part in our challenge.

How It Works

The philosophy behind our “Thrive in Five Tips” is advice to optimise your mind, body and wellbeing in five minutes or less. Our tips are designed so that it takes less than 5 minutes to think about or to implement. Taking part is simple; the Thrive in Five Wellbeing at Work Challenge takes place over four weeks. Your team, or the whole organisation, will use the thrive in five tips provided by Bodyshot Performance to improve well-being at work. Each week focuses on a different wellbeing signal covering Sleep, Mental Health, Energy and Health Optimisation.

Participants take a short survey before and after the Thrive in Five challenge to benchmark and measure results. During the challenge we’ll also ask you to keep a diary of how it went, this needs to include photos and / or video content.

Week One

Week one is all about Sleep (subsequent weeks will be about Mental Health, Energy and Fitness), and we’re inviting you to join us in the challenge.

Sleep is an extremely important factor to our health and our future health. It has a powerful influence on both our mental and physical health. Lack of sleep, and lack of good quality sleep can make it difficult to thrive and have the energy to do everyday tasks or make changes to our lifestyle.

How to get involved

All you need to do is watch this short video and follow the tips, and then look out for next week’s blog for the next tips on Mental Health.

When you begin week two, continue to implement the tips from week one, so that by the end you’re working on all four tips at the same time for optimal effect.
