One in three women will experience menopause symptoms so severe, it impacts their quality of life. Many report finding symptoms particularly difficult to manage at work. This is due to feeling unable to disclose their menopausal status for fear of being stigmatised. Symptoms that most commonly affect women in the workplace are tiredness, poor concentration, and feeling low.

In our ‘Raising Awareness Of Menopause In The Working World’, we spoke with Dr Tanya Patrick. Tanya has worked as an NHS GP in London for 11 years, specialising in women’s health and chronic disease management. She is an expert in bio-identical hormone therapy and a member of both British and International Menopause Societies.

In this webinar, we cover the facts of menopause and perimenopause before diving in to the signs, symptoms, and myths. We also looked at the physiology of menopause and how it affects quality of life, before turning our attention to HRT and its alternatives.
