Sarah Thomas a 37 year old woman, who was treated for breast cancer in 2018, completed this epic challenge (dedicated to other cancer survivors) and has become the first person to swim across the English Channel four times non-stop!

What an incredible achievement!

Sarah ended up swimming close to 130 miles due to the strong tides and took her more than 54 hours to complete, with 10 minute breaks between each crossing – which meant she didn’t sleep for 54 hours!

She had to fit all her training around her full time job and when she started the swim she was stung on the face by a jellyfish! The greatest feats of mental and physical endurance in human history!

Congratulations Sarah!
